How to Configure Apache to Restart when a Server Reboot Occurs

Apache (httpd) may not be configured to restart when a server reboot occurs. Httpd service must be configured to restart automatically when a server reboot occurs. You can use the command below to do that trick:

root@]#chkconfig –level 2345 httpd on

To check if it is setup correctly, follow the command:

root@]#chkconfig –list httpd
httpd 0:off 1:off 2:on 3:on 4:on 5:on 6:off
